Yesterday was signed a stockholder agreement between EBRD /European bank of Reconstruction and Development/, Armeconmbank and its primary stockholders- the Sukiasians' family. The agreement provides for EBRD participation in regulation capital of the bank: the bank will manage the 25%+1 share holding which costs 583 million drams. The manager of EBRD bank capital Miria Louisa Chikoniani and the representative of the primary stocks Saro Sukiasian exchanged with the examples of the agreement. This kind of bank investment is the first in the history of Armenia. According to the specialists of bank sphere the entrance of Eurobank to the RA bank system not only will stimulate the RA economic development but also will promote the investment attempt of corporative management. ONE WINS, THE OTHER LOOSES

Though Russia is the strategic partner of Armenia but when the mayor of the same strategic partner's capital Yuri Lujkov declares without any discomfort during his visit to Armenia that Abashidze who is living in Moscow now is his friend, what Sahakashvili has done against him is political incivility, that the nowadays situation in Ajaria won't last for a long time and that Abashidze will return to his country soon, so you begin thinking, against your will, whether those Armenian politicians who advise to be rather far off Russia are right as the imperial syndrome remained from USSR still works in Russian relations with the post-soviet countries.
With this way of thinking Russia is ready to put the Abkhazians to the starvation and cold, close the borders for refusing the candidate produced by the Kremlin. Russia is ready to divide without doubt the Ukraine inciting the part of nation against the other part. Eventually just the Kremlin didn't save up some million of dollars for Viktor Yanukovich's election campaign hoping the latter would make the Ukraine the vassal of Russia. So when Lujkov declares Abashidze will return to Ajaria soon it is obvious Russia will do its best to return the corrupted despot to the power. "The men" of Russia are just like this in CIC region: they combine "the best" features of the soviet authoritarian bureaucracy with the post soviet criminal.
Do you think the West is better? The West bombed Yugoslavia, realized the Georgian revolution, and does the same in the Ukraine in favor its interests. The West or rather the USA makes the same imperial claims. Nobody persists the West respects the sovereignty of countries more than Russia does when it presses for decisions in shape of ultimatum. And more, it is even difficult to say Yushchenko supported by the West will be better president than Yanukowich supported by the Kremlin. The reason is that Russia and the West behave in the same way in such kind of countries as Armenia is. Simply Russia looses and the West acquires. As much Russia looses as the situation of those countries that haven't lost the fidelity towards Russia becomes worse. For example, our situation.
