Behind Kerry was seen the "ears of HHSH" /Armenian National Movement/

The US presidential candidate John Kerry, assisted by Armenian-American organizations, has in the past had contacts with the first Armenian president Levon Ter-Petrosian's spokesman Levon Zurabian. According to Mr. Zourabian , they had broadly discussed Armenian politics. " He impressed me as a man who knows Armenian problems very well. He knows the history of the Genocide and the issues of Armenia-Turkey-USA relations well. He was very much interested in the Karabakh problem and his questions revealed deep knowledge of the issue." Had the information about this meeting been available earlier, the ARF's "Hai dat" office in particular would probably not have called to vote in favour of Kerry who appears to have "ears of former authorities" behind him.

Passing through the barbed wires

The leader of the party " New Times" Aram Karapetian after the long silence suddenly broke it to solve the following question: must we do a revolution or mustn't? The problem, of course, is interesting. But first of all it will be better to know to whom it is addressed: to the authorities, to the opposition or to the nation. If it is addressed to the authorities then according to this logic the authorities must be terrified the revolutioners and for preventing the probable revolution they must try to repent. " Either the president will understand that it is impossible to rule the country till 2008 year or we'll meet on the barricades",- promissed the previous candidate of the president. It can be supposed that the present president probably won't understand that he can't rule the country till 2008 as he didn't understand till today. Won't understand therefore won't afraid of the prospects of meeting barricades.
So let's go on. His question perhaps adressed to the leaders of the opposition who have already reached the barbed wires, but don't want to pass it by no means. The most nationalist showman of our television didn't in vain questioned Arshak Sadoyan about revolution. It's found out that he wasn't going to prepare a revolution as he didn't want a bloodshed. But maybe it is adressed to the nation. Finally we can't do a revolution without nation even if we want it very much. Hence first of all the nation must be ready to realize the idea of a revolution and not Aram Karapetian or the leaders of the opposition. It means that the classical situation must be ripened when the ruling clique can't and the subordinates don't want.
It seems that the main part of the subordinates don't want to get on the barricades. Perhaps don't want, because the situation hasn't ripened when the nation has nothing to loose exsept its chains. It's much more probably that the subordinates think that it isn't worthy to do a revolution in the name of revolution. It means in the name of political leaders' mechanical changes when the less reliable leader is changed with another less reliable.
Of course, for every politician the laurels of revolution are temting. We came, sow, and won. Here is the desired dreem that seems too easy to realise. It's enough to promise to close the Paraqar. Or to promise to pass through the barben wires what the other members of the opposition refuse to do. But Aram Karapetian is ready to realise it. So we, pleased at the new discovery must run on the barricades for the revolution.
