THEY LEFT FOR KOSOVO AGAIN

34 Armenian peacemakers left for Kosovo from the Capital regiment at 7:30 yesterday morning. The deputy Minister of the Minister of Defense Arthur Aghabekian, representatives of the Greece Embassy and NATO took part in the ceremonial. The deputy Minister informed the media that those who came back from Kosovo would leave for Iraq. In connection with other 34 military men in Iraq Mr. Aghabekian informed that the doctors were in the hospital, the drivers supplied the citizens and the combat engineers were waiting for the equipment.

THEY STILL HANG NOODLES

As the "Mediamax" informs the cochairmen of the OSCE Minsk group adopted a declaration in London yesterday worrying about the frequent infringements of armistice regime in the conflict area of Karabakh. The arbitrators were worried about "the rising strain between Armenia and Azerbaijan because of the adding infringements of the armistice regime during the last weeks" and on the occasion of " the public declarations about the possibility for breaking out the war". "Mentions about the war worsen the current efforts for reaching the peaceful settlement of the conflict, incandesce the feeling of hatred at the both peoples and don't prepare people to the thought that they must live as neighbors and not as enemies,"- is said in the declaration of the arbitrators.
"At this sensible moment when the first step may be taken on the direction of the agreement designed by the interference of the cochairmen we call strongly to the parties to prepare the population of their countries for the balanced agreement which will demand mutual concessions from both sides,"- according to "Mediamax" the cochairman Yuri Merzliakov, Stiven Mann and Bernar Fasje declared. The core word in the declaration was the word "prepare" which is repeated for two times. The cochairmen make both the official Yerevan and Baku to understand by diplomatic language to prepare their population for mutual concessions. While the authorities of Armenia and especially Azerbaijan act in the opposite direction trying to assure their population that the settlement will be in a way when the "subordinates" will be satisfied and the opposite party will be dissatisfied.
That's true Serge Sargsian who is going to fill the post of the next President speaks of mutual concessions. But all our leaders assure the RA citizens that nowadays it is possible to come to such a solution when Karabakh is proclaimed as an independent state or the part of Armenia. It means hanging noodles on the ears of the people if we translate the Russian proverb. The leadership of Azerbaijan is also far from the reality. They also assure their people that a solution is possible when Karabakh becomes the part of Azerbaijan. They also hang another noodles.
The realistic solution certainly is the postponement of the problem of Karabakh status. Rolling the remained tangle of issues by calm mutual agreement /the so-called stage by stage settlement/. But will the authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan agree with it after their patriotic speeches?
