DISCREPANCIES
HAVE BEEN SMOOTHED

Negotiations between "AmenTel" and "Karabakh Telecom" lasting several months reached to the conclusion last week by the interference of the Minister of Transport and Communication Andranik Manukian. It is provided that those two companies will sign an agreement on combination their networks. Thus there is no obstacle for the second phone operator to enter the Armenian market.

ADVOCATE SQUABBLE

Friendly speaking it is still difficult to say what a honey is spread on the post of the chairman of the Chamber of Advocates but it is obvious that the struggle is out of the advocate sphere and it is at the center of the public attention. In contrast to the writers who carry out a pre-electoral campaign for their session and are divided to the "parties" nominating various candidacies for the post of the President of the Union of Writers the advocates were more solid and quiet before the General meeting. They gathered, adopted the regulations and elected the chairman of the Chamber. Everything began after it, it was found out that the regulations were wrong, and the delegates of the congress didn't have right to vote because they weren't "true" / plenipotentiary/ advocates and the chairman of the Chamber had been elected by irregularities as it is done in Armenia usually.
And the legal proceedings of the century began. The advocates against the advocates. In addition to the third side "untrue" advocates who try to prove that they are true. If we consider the advocacy as a business then there isn't any successful step for compromising that business. Let's imagine doctors who have come to the court, have put on their surgical knives and try to show the mistakes of the opposite side. Will you as a potential sick man agree to lie under that knife?
The advocate is the same doctor who is called to help a citizen in need. His surgical knife is his words, proving his truth with the help of the law. And when they use their weapon against each other for filling some posts instead of protecting the rights of common citizens this decrease the trust of the same citizen.
Tomorrow the same advocates who take part in the court proceedings for the post of the chairman of the Chamber will enter the same court of the Center and Nork-Marash and will be engaged in their usual business.
The judges usually call to the parties to come to an agreement and solve the case out of juridical way. Let's now we call to the advocates with the same demand. Use the way of the heads or tails for know who will be the chairman of the Chamber and close the case.
