"TERRITORIES TILL KUR MUST BE OCCUPIED"

THERE ARE A LOT OF PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES IN THE ARF

THEY WILL CEDE THE COUNTRY BUT NOT THE PETROL STATIONS

WHAT WILL BE IF WE WON'T RETREAT?

A PROJECT FOR YOUNG LEADERS

DO THE ARMENIANS WANT TO RETURN TO
THE MIDDLE AGES?

THE POSTERS ARE
STILL IN THE POLICE

The arrested car of "A1+" TV Company "was set free" from the penalty area yesterday. The police affirmed that the car had infringed the rules of traffic. The determined fine had been paid. But the posters and other necessary things for organizing demonstrations are still in the police.

GLENDALE ISN'T "AN ORGANIZED CITY"

The elections of the municipality were hold in the U.S. Glendale City on 5 of April. The appointment of Artashes Kasakhian in the post of the secretary of the municipality was a significant event for the Armenian community. Kasakhian who was assisted by the group of Hay Dat in Glendale left behind him 9 candidates by overwhelming majority of votes. 9 candidates from 12 who were assisted by the group of Hay Dat won in the elections. But there is nothing extraordinary that Armenians won in the elections in this city full of Armenians. Another thing that this is simply a sensation for the RA citizens. As there hasn't been recorded any case that candidates who are pleasant to the people and not the proteges of the authority win in the elections. The Armenians who were for Democrat Kerry and not for Republican Bush in the last U.S. presidential elections won in these elections. So we can say that the Armenians are "opposed" to the Bush's present regime but nevertheless they won.
Though it is pleasant that the Armenians won in a separate city but this circumstance is rather offensive for us, the citizens of Armenia. Must we emigrate by all means and become a national minority and opposition for sending our elected representatives to the city governing body? Must we be far from our historical homeland for carrying out political career not serving for the present regime but just the opposite, being in the opposition?
And the following question remained without answer; why do we observe the law in foreign countries? The opportunities of our compatriots from abroad are greater than in the own state when it is easier to rig and cheat especially in the elections. We don't want to conclude that we aren't worthy of having a state. But the opposite hasn't been proved yet.
