THE BOYCOTT WILL BE STOPPED FOR A WHILE AND THEN IT WILL BE CONTINUED

On Monday, when the parliamentary sittings begin with the whole membership the agenda will be voted and it will be clear that Viktor Dallakian's project on returning deposits isn't included in the agenda: the opposition will leave the sitting hall again.

THE CONFRONTATION

The U.S. authorities arrested on-time official of consular section of the U.S. embassy in Armenia Zdislav Parley accusing him of corruption and illegal grant of visas. That means they have revealed criminal corrupted elements inside their own systems. According to mass media the American citizen Parley was arrested in Washington on Wednesday. In sum he has broken 13 laws of USA. The arrested official is threatened with 15 years of imprisonment and fine at the rate 250 thousand dollars for each infringement. Parley and his supporters whose names aren't published have granted visas in Yerevan at least 6 times from April 2004 till the middle of January of the last year not meeting the requirements of the U.S. legislation. For this transaction Parley got money gifts amount to 10000$.
To all appearances Parley failed in selling visas to those people who didn't satisfy the U.S. requests. For example they didn't want to go back to their beloved homeland after the expiry of their visas. The Armenian citizens coughed up 10 000$ to Parley just for this otherwise they wouldn't pay such enormous sum for a short-term trip to the USA.
What can we conclude from this story? First, even the American law keepers with great salaries guaranteed by the U.S. authority can't help to avoid earning money on the ground of deficit. Even the Yankees who are afraid of the U.S. laws stop feeling shy of taking bribes for our environment is forbearing and pleasing.
The second conclusion: our citizen is ready to bribe 10 000$ to the corrupted American official and forever leave the country for no longer paying these bribes than bribing endlessly staying in the homeland.
The third conclusion: the officials are the same everywhere and they all take bribes. The only difference is that the Americans punish their officials for taking bribes. It remained to teach our citizens to respect their own laws and punish those who break the laws. But neither we nor even the Americans know how to achieve it.
