"Voxi Populi" center carried out a phone public poll on 4-7 February in connection with the event happened to the NA deputy Hakob Hakobian in Dubai. The 69% of 688 Yerevan citizens considered Hakob Hakobian guilty and he mast abandon his post. And according to the opinion of 29 % " the event is misunderstanding but defiles the reputation of the deputy at any case."

OUR "AYATOLLAHS"

If Hamo from Bangladesh /district in Yerevan/, Hro from Artashat and other "shaved heads" about whose crimes the press constantly informed during last year would be isolated from the society in time instead of getting free by symbolic fines or even remaining unpunished then the number of participants in skirmish at "TEC crossroad" on 4 February would decrease. But as those hamoes and hroes have served / and probably serve/ in the Guards of oligarchs they're absolutely unpunished and are always ready to fulfill the orders of their patrons in favour of traffic line, gas station or other establishments. They take guns and go to deal with the problem. They are also ready to beat a politician or a journalist unpleasant to their patrons.
As the ayatollahs and the keepers of Islamic revolution solve a lot of important issues in Iran though there are both government and parliament there as well as in Armenia the great part of the real authority is concentrated in the hands of criminal business / the whole big business is criminal in our country/ and unlawful armed groups. Will any policeman or prosecutor dare to enter the estate of any oligarch and ask how many persons are in your so called Guard, what are they armed with, what functions do they realize? If such a brave policeman is found, the same "shaved heads" will bring from his legs and throw him to a cage with beasts.
Only one armed band of Armen Ter-Sahakian existed in Armenia tolerated by the authorities till 1998. Now every oligarch and high rank official in force has more powerful bands armed by grenades, machine and submachine guns.
Certainly, those bands are the part of authority and carry out the orders of the authority, too / including political orders/. But if the official authority don't try to punish those armed groups it isn't excluded they will act just against the authorities sooner or later.
