OUR REPLY TO ELIZABETH JONES

According to some observers the declaration of the U.S. assistant secretary about "criminal" and "corrupted" authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh is a slander as the criminal and corrupted elements of Karabakh are in Armenia for a long time.

LET'S NOT TO BE
OFFENDED TOO MUCH

It's a pity indeed that the US State assistant secretary considered the authorities of Nagorno Karabakh "criminal" and "corrupted". They are as criminal and corrupted as the authorities of Armenia, Russia or Azerbaijan are. Perhaps less than Azerbaijan. It is also right that the deputies of the authority and young men make an action of protest in connection with Elizabeth Jones's declaration: let the U.S. officials choose right words before speaking. By the way, Mrs. Jones has used the word "separatists" from which we mustn't be offended. We have wanted and want Karabakh to separate from Azerbaijan since 1988, don't we?
But let's understand why the assistant secretary has said it. The U.S. is an established state and no official says anything accidental both about time and style. Simply we must give an account to us once more that we have been against the world order during the last 17 years and have displayed unjustified obstinacy and smartness during the last 7 days. And the deciders of the world order /the same USA/ make us to understand that the limit of inhibition the issue by smartness has been expired. No Russia will help us. And there is no debt the U.S. has levers to affect on the countries, which are more powerful than Armenia is.
The U.S. embassy in Armenia doesn't deny E. Jones's sayings: "U.S. policy with respect to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has not changed. The United States does not recognize Nagorno-Karabakh as an independent country, and its leadership is not recognized internationally or by the United States. The United States supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan." In this context the following elucidation of the embassy is more important: "Assistant Secretary Jones's comment was directed at the need for the U.S. and Russia to work together to resolve the conflicts and advance transparency and rule of law in the conflict areas." If we try to translate it from diplomatic language it will mean: "Yes, you, the CIC authorities are also corrupted and criminal but as we know you as authorities you are controlled and transparent and the mentioned territories aren't controlled."
We may not to be agree, rebel and be offended but the U.S. standpoint is that and we can't help taking it into consideration.
