LET'S APPOINT PUGACHOVA A MINISTER?

Alla Pugachova has won 1 million 639500 rubles in casino "Crystal" of Moscow. According to Russian mass media she was so moved she couldn't utter a word. Then she called her guards and left the casino with the big sum. The officials of the casino have admitted no visitor has won such a big sum for about two years. The singer repulsed with this the Armenian ministers and deputies who always loose in casinos.

THE "CONSTRUCTIVE" PACKAGE

Though it sounds rather curiously that the opposition changed the anger for charity and suggested the coalition parties to collaborate in working up constitutional reforms but as it is said, it is better late than never. Today the opposition proposes what the coalition has proposed the opponents of the authority some months before but has been refused categorically. But on the other hand the opposition must raise its price and come to a conclusion with the coalition at the first summons. And now, when half a year has passed they can collaborate with those whom they didn't even want to greet.
But the opposition wouldn't be an opposition if it didn't surround its readiness to return to the parliament in the form of ultimatum - they say, we'll renew our participation in the parliamentary rotting if our demands on the principles of constitutional reforms are accepted completely and not partly, and by all parties of the coalition. We must remind that the meting of the NA chairman Arthur Baghdasarian and the secretary of "Justice" group Viktor Dallakian took place last Friday. The NA chairman promised to discus situation on constitutional changes presented by the opposition during 10 days and call consultation for announcing the results. But while the decision hasn't been taken everybody try to guess development of events, especially Kocharian's reaction on constitutional limitation of presidential authority suggested by the opposition. Now only the position of Dashnaktsutiun is known on this occasion: this part of coalition considers the suggestions of the opposition sensible. But the positions of other members of the coalition - "Orinats Erkir" and Republic Party - aren't known.
But the main thing will depend on the President and not the coalition. And he hardly wanted to accept the collaboration with the opposition, which was declared in ultimatum form. We are inclined to think that Kocharian won't go to meet the opposition in no circumstances. Why must the strong go to meet the weak?
So the return of the opposition will hardly take place. Though it is possible that the secret desire of the opposition was just that - constructive imitation with unsuccessful solution.
