JIRINOVSKY PREDICTS

The deputy chairman of the RF State Duma Vladimdir Jirinovsky considered possible in the interview in PACE that "an orange cock" would also be brought to Armenia as the ruler of the country who would carry out the U.S. policy.

THEY HAVE NOTHING
TO DO WITH THE PEACE

As it is known the founder of Red Cross, the really remarkable Swiss person Juan-Anri-Duan was awarded first in the world by the Nobel Prize of Peace in 1901. Only three persons from the countries of "Eastern bloc" were awarded by the Prize of Peace in the whole history of Nobel Prizes: the scientist Andrei Sakharov /in 1975/, the founder of Polish movement "Solidarity" Leh Valencia /in 1983/ and the first President of USSR Michael Gorbachov /in 1990/. These persons have made their doubtless contributions in peace consolidation. But for what merits have the influential senators John MacKein and Hilary Clinton nominated the presidents of Ukraine and Georgia Viktor Yushchenko and Michael Sahakashvili for the Nobel Prize of Peace is not known? That's true both senators mention in the sent letter to Norwegian Nobel committee that both presidents have gained the people's support standing up for democracy, freedom and civil freedoms and making their contribution in development of democracy in the Eastern Europe. As regards the freedom established in Georgia after Sahakashvili is too disputable. For example, a protest meeting was organized in Tskhinvali yesterday which participants accused Sahakashvili of preparing aggression and genocide towards the ossetian people.
If the whole merit of Sahakashvili and Yushchenko according to the Americans is that they came to power "after rising tide of protest against falsified elections" it is not an argument to compare with Gorbachov or Sakharov. Especially 90% gathered votes of Sahakashvili seem falsified. The senators' argumentation was the following: "awarding them by the Nobel Prize of Peace will not only mark their historical role but will also encourage those who strive for freedom where it doesn't exist." Let's agree this is like a provocation. As if, the citizens of those countries where the freedom doesn't exist follow Yushchenko's and Yanukovich's examples. We would like but we couldn't. As the Americans supported them as financially and as morally that the dismissed rulers couldn't even peep not mentioning the use of electroshock and water jets on people and general arrests. If only our Armenian oppositionists also got such kind of encouragement they also could keep people close to it. Our oppositionists won't organize meetings without real guarantees of Nobel prizes.
