THERE WAS NO SURPRISE

As it was expected the national combined team of Armenia lost the game with Romania 0:2 by score. Our combined team of youth didn't also succeed.

THEY AREN'T ENGAGED IN ''SMALL'' PROBLEMS

At the first sight it is strange that the opposition misses the opportunity of displaying itself the demonstrations of the protest of the inhabitants who have been deprived of their houses for the construction of the North Avenue. It seems you want see better opportunity to oppose to the authorities than the construction of the North Avenue is; people are turned out from their houses and give the center of the country to the rich for constructing elite houses. It is also clear who will live in those buildings. But the inhabitants complain alone. Perhaps only the inhabitants of Kond district who also are threatened by the same fate are with them. And those who haven't turned out from their flats yet display indifference. It was showed for the following time yesterday during the demonstration of protest of the inhabitants of the destroyed houses. Anyway why the opposition prefers to speak and organize demonstrations exclusively in global themes and doesn't want to spend its time in protecting the interests of certain citizens. The reason is that you won't gather a lot of people by the demonstration in "local" theme, our society doesn't have a high civil way of thinking for going and joining those whose problems don't refer to it directly. And the opposition, which has a problem of gathering masses, doesn't have any wish to be engaged in small things. It will be in other way when the date of the constitutional amendments is declared. The oppositionists will show themselves. They aren't fool to miss the moment of revolutionary situation, which was so expected. On another hand the opposition must understand that unless the people realize that it mustn't live only with narrow interests it will concern to the constitutional amendments such as to the unhappy inhabitants of the North Avenue. But there is nobody to explain to the people their rights. Just the opposite they try to assure that there is no mean to try protecting the own rights. It is all the same, nobody will stand by you. Even those whose political status obliges to help the weak people.
