"WE ARE READY TO DEFEND THE HOMELAND"

THE MAIN DELEGATE HAS REMAINED AND THE SUCCEDENT HAS LEFT

VICTOR ISN'T THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE

WHERE DID YOU LEAVE, RICH MEN?

DON'T FORGET "HOROVEL"

LET'S REMEMBER EVERYONE, NAME BY NAME

THE SATAN OF OUR DAYS

WHO WILL PROTECT US?

Yesterday the president of the International Union of Advocates of Armenia /IUA/Tigran Ter-Yesayan thanked to his colleagues for teamwork of 6 years. IUA and its president became famous for its active principle work directed to the protection of human rights. The chamber of advocates will take the place of all advocate organizations the president of which will be elected one of these days. Will that chamber work in IUA style?

A MEDIAL FOR OPENING DAY

Mobile telephones will be granted to the veterans of Patriotic War who live in Moscow but don't have telephones on the occasion of the anniversary of the Victory. Yuri Lujkov ordered it one of these days. The authorities of Sakhalin are going to present flats to those veterans who need in it. The flats of veterans in Yamala will be repaired and special discounts will be determined for those veterans who use transports. The Patriot War veterans of Arghangelsk will be presented 20 flats. The authorities of Ekaterinbourg will present 30 flats to the veterans. The veterans of Irkutsk will be presented by home telephones.
The Armenian authorities have also decided to respect the veterans and made a decision yesterday to give 190 million Drams /400000 Dollars/ to the Government to prepare medals and certificates on the occasion of the 60 anniversary of the Patriot War, which will be handed solemnly on 9 of May. Medal isn't a bad thing. It is much possible that our veterans who are about 10000 will be glad of the present. But if our Government present only medals it isn't excluded that those medals will appear in the open day exhibition. As the medal doesn't satisfy the hunger and it is impossible to pay the fees of electricity, water and telephone. So it is better for the state to take care of the needs of the first necessity; to raise the pension, repair flats, to pay the unpaid fees of telephones, to supply with medicine etc. But what the Government has decided smells cynically. If our Government can't afford honoring our veterans who are remembered exclusively in the Day of Victory let them not to throw dust in their eyes with medals and certificates. They mustn't offend those people. They aren't worthy of it.
