WILL THE PEOPLE'S DEPUTY GROUP DEPRIVE OF THE COALITION'S CONSTITUTION

It isn't excluded that the "People's deputy" group will also deprive of being the co-author of the constitutional amendments initiated by the coalition and the representative of the group Rafik Petrosian will call back his signature. The head of the NA state and juridical issues Rafik Petrosian complained to "Azatutiun" broadcasting station yesterday that the old version of constitutional amendments was continuing though reforms were already achieved based on proposals
of the commission of Venice.

ANOTHER MENTION

The chairman of the "Human Rights-Democracy" party Ruben Torosian is going to publish a book "Who is Who" by title. In this case the Armenian "Who is Who" will differ from the world known reference book of the same name. Mr. Torosian is going to introduce the Armenian politicians in the light of the contradiction of their views, activities and expressions. In short he wants to remind us what our politicians of the latest period have said and done. In particularly Torosian promises to perform those politicians who called to elect the current authorities in 1998 and 2003 but now they choose the opposite direction. Be sure that the book will be rather interesting. If the author isn't lazy and limited by general affirmations that this politician was for ANM then he became the member of "Erkrapah" and then became one of Kocharian's adherents. He must give to that simple scheme "flesh and blood" comparing what the politician has said during the previous president and what he says under Kocharian's rule. In this case the book will become a bestseller. And the limit of the book will be limited.
Ruben Torosian isn't the first person who has an idea to show up the real faces of our politicians. Our Mass media in particularly "Aravot" tried in time to remind the previous expressions and activities of those politicians who radically change their views parallel with political development. But unfortunately that initiation gave no results, as the main part of our politicians is a traitor and time-server. This is so ordinary and natural that nobody is surprised. We are surprised of the politician who has never betrayed his principles and adherents. Consequently the fact that the politicians who suddenly change their views and don't realize their pre-electoral promises has no influence on the election of the voters. Everybody in Armenia knows who is who. But unfortunately it doesn't hinder those people to fill high posts. So a book more or less nothing will change.
