HMAYAK'S FUNERAL MARCH

The NA deputy Hmayak Hovhannisian again called the deputies on gathering signatures in favor of legislative settling of the issue on returning deposits. Holding a special sitting on 23 March will restore the NA authority. Otherwise Hmayak Hovhanisian warns that people will enter the hall and will solve the NA issues: "Let God give our deputies a little wisdom and help from political confusion, let the NA not to become a stage of mass murder. But if we didn't succeed in avoiding of suicide we won't need in either a new mausoleum or new scenes of marauding. Therefore by the example of civil nations the political dead bodies will be committed to the earth by Christian way in time."

WE WERE REPROACHED A LITTLE

The U.S. State Secretariat has blamed us again. For that the persons under detention are beaten, arrests without permissions have been occurred. The Americans haven't also forgotten the events of last April mentioning in their annual report that the police scattered by force the demonstration organized by the opposition, the politicians of opposition were arrested, and the office of opposition was attacked. Besides the State Secretariat doesn't like the problems connected with the freedom of speech and the right of our citizens to be informed in our country. It was also noticed in the report that the attitudes of the society towards homosexuals, Jews and Ezedis were also problematic.
The most regretful thing is that all sins of Armenian authorities on human's freedoms and rights are small and primitive. What then the demonstration of the opposition was scattered by spraying cars, the journalists were beaten and the homosexuals aren't respected properly. This is such a trifle by our criteria that it isn't worth to speak about. Each of us has more serious complaints on human rights from our authorities about what the Americans keep silence. The State Secretariat didn't spare Russia, too. But look how large scales are in contrast to the Armenian officials' small sins. In addition to the existed accusations - punishments out of court, people's abductions in Chechnya, violation of the freedom of speech - the State Secretariat also added fresher examples: the concentration of the authority, political pressure on the court system /the trial of Khodakovski/, the murder of the former President of Ichkeria Zelimkhan Yandarbiev by the RF agents in Qatar and the refusal of mysterious murder of Yuri Shchekochikhin.
The report of the U.S. State Secretariat isn't the truth of high instance. And the states won't become more democratic from its contest if not the opposite. Most probably this report is policy. According to the U.S. carried out policy Russia is more authoritarian state than Armenia which destroys the offices of the opposition and with its bad attitudes towards homosexuals. The Russian authorities will hardly be offended from this instead ours can rejoice over it. But it is in vain, as there aren't any reason for it. When they blame you for trifles that means they don't have great expectations. Serious accusations must be earned.
