THE QUARREL OF ADVOCATES

Serious controversies took place at the weekend during the elections of the Advocates' chamber. One of the disputes ended by fuss of the advocates Ruben Rshtuni and Karen Maghakian. The quarrel continued out of the hall. The former chairman of the International Union of the Advocates Tigran Ter-Yesayan could stop the quarrel with great difficulty.

THE INTERNAL DEMAND

Revolution is being realized in the third post Soviet country; this is a big amount in this short duration, which allows us to observe some intention. The developments in Kyrgyzstan lead to collision and bloodshed. The base of all three revolutions is the opposition's dissatisfaction from the results of the elections. Every progress election in the post Soviet country is led by actions of protest, accusations the authorities of the rigged elections and proclamations to review the results of the elections. Such demonstrations of protest were possible to calm down during last ten years. But now everything happens by the opposite scenario; the revolutions are succeeded by unique easiness. Even in Kyrgyzstan where the opposition controls only the South of the country the President Akaev is agree to negotiate with the opposition and even to review the results of the elections. That's true in contrast with Kuchma and Shevardnadze Akaev tried to suppress the energy of the opposition by force. But the Kirghiz opposition wasn't afraid of the use of forces. They succeeded in occupation of the administrative structures, the airport and the TV Center of Osh City and now they are preparing to move to Bishkek.
It is clear that the anti revolutionists of those countries speak about the revolutions imported from the West and there is a part of truth. But only by the meaning that the destruction of the Russian Empire is occurred now and not in 1991 when the destruction of the Soviet Union was officially declared. The subsiding of Russia is profitable for the West. But neither the USA and nor Europe is able to model a democratic revolution if there isn't the internal public order in the mention country. In other words it is usually imported what is demanded. It was needed in Georgia and the demand of revolution was also existed in the Ukraine. As it was found out the article is also demanded in Kyrgyzstan but it seems it isn't demanded in Armenia. Certainly there is discontent. At least it was a year ago when force was used on the peaceful demonstrators. Not to mention after presidential and parliamentary elections when our opposition demanded to review the results of the elections complained to the European structures. But the revolution didn't tae place.
The matter is that the revolutions don't take place for the reason that the opposition wants to come to power. As mush the opposition speaks about its wish to realize a revolution it won't be realized unless the majority of people don't see in the opposition those persons who they want to pass the authority.
