Islam Karimov square accounts with the Islamic revolutionaries of his country in the rude and dictatorial way: he closed the city, neutralized all sources of information and sent the military groups to make pressure on the demonstrators. It is already spoken about 600 victims. He did what did neither Shevardnadze nor Kuchma and nor Akaev. He stopped the parade of revolutions in the CIC territory opposing to it a strong power by which he formed a precedent. But it is dangerous that his colleague Presidents can use of that justified way if the opposition of those countries tried to organize a revolution. The Western journalists accuse of the dictator Karimov and Washington and London which is led by double standards which allowed and even couraged the Uzbek authorities to shed the blood.
But it is only spoken about journalistic appraisal. But officially neither Russia nor the West hurry to accuse Karimov and his power structures, they declare to the "revolted people" about their assistance. The reason of it is more than transparent. The revolt is led in Uzbekistan not secular politicians as it happened in Georgia, Kiev or Bishkek but people famous with Islamic orientation. Neither Russia nor the West wants their victory. The authoritarian but secular Karimov is the lesser among the evils both for the neighbor countries and the USA, which have placed military bases in that country. So the same USA can forgive Karimov what it won't forgive Kuchma. And both Russia, the USA and Europe close their eyes on the violation of human rights that various ways of thinking are being persuaded, there isn't freedom of the speech. If a civil, pro-Western opposition stood against the current regime, believe the attitude of the World community would be rather different. For that reason Karimov's hands are free. For the Western patrons close their eyes on the violence used towards the opposition it is necessary to have members of radical Islamic groups like "Al-Ghana". Even Arshak Sadoyan doesn't have that role.
