MANUOSH AND THE COURT

"Aravot" has written for many times about concrete constructions in the green zone of the Pantheon of Komitas garden. At the beginning of the garden in front of entrance an enormous construction site with tree graves meet the visitors. According to the intellectuals who alarmed us a building of the Court will be constructed here soon. The inhabitants who live near say that the garden is divided into some "owners". Another active construction is going near the Pantheon. It is said that the future house of certain Manoush is constructing.

BUSH'S DECLARATION

Yesterday the U.S. President George Bush declared in the International Republican Institute of Washington, which is engaged in "the progress of freedom in foreign countries that democratic revolutions would come to Caucasus and Middle Asia. "The freedom displays continuos progress and we became the evidences of the revolutions of roses, orange, apricot, tulips, cedars and this is only the beginning,"- Bush mentioned. He also warned those who wait for the recurrent revolution: don't expect that the life will be improved immediately after expected changes. Because as Bush noticed "the period of uncertainty followed free elections". It will be difficult from the beginning. That's true the U.S. administrative group will assist to "new democracies". But unfortunately that assistance will be not by dollars but by forming democratic institutes, which will fill, by Bush, the vacuum, which will exist during the changes. or that the U.S. State Secretariat will form civil "groups of immediate reply" the members of which will be sent to the "crisis regions" to give "the first aid" to the democratic powers. According to Bush's initiation those civil groups will leave for crisis regions with the beforehand designed project of social and economic activities.
The project is obvious: the USA assists the democratic powers to realize a revolution and then takes those powers under its control and care. The life of the citizens won't be improved by it. Instead those who give advices will be added. It is said here: don't allow living, it is better to help materially. We are building democracy for about 15 years and each of us understands niceties of democracy better than Bush himself. It 's another question that the authority is only a source of income in our country. And those who have authority have to oppose to the democracy for not loosing the feeding sources. If the authorities must be taken from a group and given to another by the U.S. assistance nothing will be changed. The degree of democracy, too. And what democracy if the authorities will be under the U.S. control and not the own people. And without their material assistance.
