GOT DIVORCED
The
political crisis, which appeared in the Ukraine last weeks and developed quickly
reached to its apex yesterday and we can say it got a certain solution. The President
Yushchenko dismissed the whole personnel of the government and ordered to form
a new government not to the former Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko but the governor
of Donetsk Yuri Ekhanurov. "I WILL SCAVENGE" Two
types of candidates will take part in the coming elections of Local Self Governing;
A/
criminal elements / who consider themselves businessmen or economic figures,
B/
politicians. When the rivalry is among the first ones, everything is clear, as
it is said "Plague" in both your homes". When the representatives
of coalition or opposition take part in the elections of local self-governing,
you begin thinking "are those elections political or antipolitical".
The matter is that irrespective of their orientations the representatives of parties
won't have success in those elections. And it itself makes us think; perhaps it
is a proper occasion for carrying out political propaganda.
Frankly speaking
I don't believe that Ruzan Khachaturian is going to work in the post of district
ruler. That she is going to devote three years of her life to the problems of
scavenging. In case when Mrs. Khachaturian is successfully engaged in the "scavenging"
of political field. There is nothing painful here, if I, the author of these lines
can't work as a district ruler it doesn't show my inferiority and it doesn't mean
that the life has lost its charm. There are different interesting and less honorable
professions in this life.
You may take part in parliamentary or presidential
electoral campaigns for political propaganda when even in case of not winning
you self-affirm in the political field and send your message to the population.
And what kind of message can you send in case of elections of district ruler;
"People, I'll scavenge and repair your roofs". Does such promise add
anything to the political character of the candidate?
It's a surprising paradox,
people are desperated by the authority /first of all/, opposition and all kind
of politicians. On another hand the public atmosphere is rather politicized. That
meant the product, which doesn't have any demand, is produced every day and every
minute. One of two; either people pretend that they don't want listen about policy
or that product which is produced so much isn't "policy" in reality.
