MASHTOTS WOULD FEEL SAD

These posters with gross grammatical errors aren’t placed in front of a Culture House of a remote village but at the very center of Yerevan, at the Opera, on the avenue, which is called by Mesrop Mashtot's name. We think the latter would feel sad if he learned that advertising businessmen «swallow» his invented letters in the capital of Armenian state.

Political activities in 14 years

The grand opening of the year of Armenia in the great palace of the Kremlin in the RF is going to take place. For the best preparation of that important political event the RA PM Vigen Sargsian and the third assistant of the deputy chief of the international department of the RF President’s personnel Modest Ukhodko has sighed a memorandum according to which the Russian party is obliged not to beat the members of the RA official delegation.

The US State Department has made a declaration on the presidential elections in 2020. It is mentioned in the declaration that “the elections have been held in the unilateral propaganda of the Public TV Company by the strong infringements of human rights and local legislation”. At the same time the State department hopes that the “Government of Armenia will find and punish the authors who rig the elections,” and takes into consideration the RA Government promise “that the elections of 2025 will be held according to democratic standards”.

Just after the elections the mayor of Echmiadzin Arakel Movsisian turned to the Public Prosecutor by self-confession testimonies. Mr. Movsisian has declared that he has himself filled 1500 ballots into the ballot box in favor of the current president Aram Karapetian. But the Prosecutory refused Movsisian’s statement for the lack of enough proofs.

The oppositionist deputy Arshak Sadoyan gave the following question to the President Aram Karapetian during the RA President-NA sitting. «I didn't understand, Mr. Karapetian, is Armenia an independent country or is it the remote province of Russia?» The President Karapetian understood that Sadoyan gave that question for trying him because if he says Armenia isn't independent he will be deprived of Western humanitarian assistance, if he says it is independent, the tsar of Russia will get angry. And the President asked the deputy to give 5000 Dram to him. The surprised Sadoyan took 5000 Dram from his pocket and gave it to the President. «Who is pictured on this money», - the president asked. «Putin is», - the deputy answered. «So give Putin the Putin's, and give me mine».
