HE HAD NO OPPORTUNITY

Raffy Hovhannisian, the leader of «Heritage» Party told «Aztutiun» b/s after fourth congress of the party that his party was open for every power for whom democracy and national interests are dominant. He also informed that he met with Samvel Babayan but didn't have an opportunity to talk to Gagik Tsdarukian.

EVERYTHING IS SOLVABLE

There is no natural argumentation, which can justify the murder of 40 children as the result of air strikes of Israel. Irrespective of the circumstance whether the Israelis knew where they were striking, «Hzbollah» nowadays win the sympathy of international community more than its enemy. As German “Tagesshpil” newspaper writes “Hzbollah’s” strategy to place “Katjushas” and “Missiles» in the garages and basements of peaceful population was quite right. According to the same newspaper Lebanese families which assist «Hzbollah» get monthly $100 from that organization.
Not being the specialist of Middle East, I don't understand how Lebanon endures the presence of troops which belong to another country and use its citizens as a live shelter. Maybe my opinion is naive, but if Syria or Iran have problems with Israel, let them attack that countries from their territories. First of all they must clarify who, with whom and what for fights and then to try to stop that war, condemning death of innocent people.
I don’t want to believe when they claim that problem is unsolvable. It is solvable but not by killing the opposite side. That’s true; it is impossible to find some universal truths for Jews and Arabs. Everyone has his own truth and he doesn’t want to refuse of it. But its solvation is the dialogue and not destruction.
When both sides refuse of the illusion that they can destroy each other and solve the problem, violence becomes unnecessary and the way of dialogue opens. And more, the refusal of the above mentioned illusion help you not to consider yourself as a perfect and fair nation and your enemy as the «core of evil». Your enemy has right to live as well as you have.
