The RF President Vladimir Putin sent his congratulations on the occasion of the 75 th anniversary of the first President of Russia Boris Eltzin. “Mostly thanks to you, for your active and effective work the construction of polite civil society and juridical democratic state reached essential success”.
Armenia hasn’t reached yet to that level
of political and state culture.

PUTIN'S SLAP

Answering to the question of the Armenian journalist the President of Russia Vladimir Putin declared clearly during his traditional interview that Russia was against the principle of double citizenship. According to it, who wants to become the RA citizen, must refuse of his current citizenship. Putin’s this clear and without comment interpretation was a good slap in the faces of those national and social demagogues who were trying to substantiate the position of removing the prohibition of double citizenship during the constitutional propaganda. Factually Russia to thousands of Armenians who live there was addresses that change was removed. It is known that the second country full of Armenians is the USA, which also doesn't adopt things like double citizenship. A person is either the NA citizen or isn't and there is no third version. But there is a question; for what that worthless noise was, for Armenians in Portugal or Belgium. If it is yes, the adherents of double citizenship must declare just in that way. Though it is understanding that the adherents of double citizenship will find themselves in a fool situation.

The strangest thing was the circumstance of active propaganda of above-mentioned positions. Why were they propagandizing a thing which they would adopt ignoring the opinion of voters? There is no need to waste additional time and sources substantiating a thing who nobody was able to do.

And another surprising nuance; it's interesting why don't the official propagandizers of Armenia agree their actions with Putin beforehand. For not finding themselves in a fool situation. Could they ask Vladimir Vladimirovich to wait for a year on the occasion of the year of Armenia in Russia and don't make such clear elucidations.
