DISCLOSURE AFTER 3 YEARS

WE ARE CONDEMNED TO BE SMALL
“All of us must realize that we can rise our authority only by democratic, fair and transparent elections. Otherwise, if we think of a moment we create danger for our future”, - member of “People’s deputy” group Vahram Baghdasarian declared yesterday.

ANTICRIMINALS
NA chairman Tigran Torosian said in the press conference yesterday that anti-criminal movement “doesn’t have a long life”. The approaches of the participants of the movement are omitted. «If there are people who know about crimes and can accuse people of crimes, they must simply turn to law enforcement services, - Mr. Torosian said.

BRIBETAKER LOSES HIS RANK

Lieutenant-general Vyacheslav Aboimov, former commander of Russian frontier troops in Armenia, was deprived of his military rank by the decree of military court in Voronej. We should remind that lieutenant general Aboimov was accused of taking bribes. According to court decree, he has been condemned to 4,5 years of conditional imprisonment and must pay 7,5 million Rubles as a compensation for the material damage.

GEORGIA IS PUNISHED, ARMENIA SUFFERS

Not getting the assistance of international community in the problem with Georgia, Russia launches the process of punishing Georgia “itself”. RF Ministry of Transportation has spread an official message that “aviation, railway, car and sea transportation with Georgia has been stopped. RF Ministry of Communication has declared about stopping mail service. Besides it, as it is known, Abkhazia has stopped negotiating with Georgia demanding debouchments of Georgian military men from gorge Kodor. “Negotiating process may only restart only in that case when Georgia returns to Moscow agreement and the fulfillment of all items of agreements achieved through the international mediation before”, - Sukhum has declared. Undoubtedly the Kremlin has dictated the above-mentioned text, and Abkhazia has announced it at once.
But these are simply visible pieces of iceberg; Moscow won't be satisfied with these «standard» punishments. And though arrested Russian military men are given to OSCE current chairman Carl de Gukht, some Russian analysts already mention the possibility of making non official pressures on Georgian Diaspora and its influential and wealthy representatives.
It is difficult to estimate the influence of the Russian punishments. But it is a fact that Armenia will also suffer from it. And though Georgians know what they suffer for, our situation is impossible to remark.
