WEIGHTY CANDIDATE

Serge Sargsian, the head of RPA council, decided not to assist Arman Sahakian’s candidacy in the elections for the head of Ajapniak district. Thus he tried to stop Sahakian’s fight for the post of the head of district. RPA council gave a “green light” to the current head of district Artsrun Khachatrian to be reelected.

NA Chairman Arakel Movsisian has announced the initiation of composing the words and music of the new anthem of Armenia. “I’m not interested what they have written before. Now we must make our people understand that Levon Sargsian is the best president of the world and must rule this country about 20 years. If anybody wants to vote for another president, we’ll punish him. I want to insert this ideology into the new anthem,”- NA chairman explained.

Chief of Police Armen Keshishian and NSS chief Gegham Badalian, met with RA President L. Sargsian and informed the situation in Armenian yesterday. In their words criminal is unrooted in the country. “The point is that,- A. Keshishian said,- the structure of the population of Armenia assists the complete legality. Three percent of the population is devotees of nation, 96% works in their estates, and 1% is engaged in mental work. There is no place for criminal», - the chief of police said.

Elections of new, true members will be held in the National Academy of Science. Deputy from Echmiadzin Hakob Hakobian has a good opportunity to be elected from «Philosophy». Answering to the journalists' question whether he deserves the academic degree, Mr. Hakobian mentioned: «Who else does deserve?».
