Yesterday the government sitting presented the results of the servant examination round our publication regarding the head of Syunik region who beat a schoolboy. It was found out that the fact as if 12 year old Hayk’s son has been beaten is not true. We should note that on April 25, when the government sitting was discussing that case, we published a denial from Hayk Karapetyan entitled “It wasn’t his son”. It is written in that denial that nothing like that happened to Hayk’s son and promised to publish the continuation of that story in the coming issues of the newspaper. Thus the government’s efforts made on this occasion were in vain, since they denied something which has already been denied.

As for Eghishe Antanosyan, he was the right person who was beaten by Suren Khachatryan. We talked to his parents by the presence of witnesses who were telling that Suren Khachatryan beat their 16 year old child for quarrelling with his sons. As a result all the parts of  Eghishe’s body have been injured, and he was curing by doctors familiar to their family. The parents were afraid of sending him to the hospital, they were also afraid of turning to the police. And now, as a result of investigation, it becomes clear that Vahram Antanosyan has spoken only about the fact that his son has beaten Suren Khachatryan’s son and kept silence about the head of region’s “interference”. If the Prime Minister believes that anybody can beat Suren Khachatryan’s son and remain unpunished, even alive, it is his problem. We can do nothing, it is his problem, enjoy his future “braveries”, let him and his relatives beat, kill and violate without taking a punishment.

We have nothing to say to the government but noting that no promise was kept during this period, which proved how naïve we were thinking that “it is possible to establish a constructive cooperation” with these government.

And an observation to PM Tigran Sargsyan: it is not worth to tell an anecdote when in this case there is no reason to laugh at all.
