SONGS AND TASTE

There are problems is Armenia which have no solution at all. The presidents, prime ministers and mayors are changed, reforms of the first, second and third generations are being held, Nerses Shnirhali is being cited and different prayers are whispered built those problems still do not have any solutions. Because you will not solve this problem by prayers, somebody should be decisive enough and cry «STOP». But nobody have a willingness to do that.

The problem that we mean seems not so essential but it is very deep in reality. We mean the music terror which starts in the restaurant of Hrazdan gorge in May of each year and is over late in Autumn. It lasts about 9 years, and «Aravot» as well as other newspapers alarm about it. But no state body is able to prevent that vulgar music which disturbs the dwellers that live nearby.

The authorities were declaring that the noise coming from the Freedom Square during nine-day demonstrations disturb the dwellers, and it was one of the reasons of March 1 incidents. It is not excluded that several wealthy dwellers of the North Avenue didn’t like the noise coming from the Freedom Square, and the policemen attacked on the peaceful demonstrators to defend those wealthy persons taste and calmness.

No wealthy persons or oligarch live near the Hrazdan gorge so the state does nothing to defend the dwellers from that vulgar music.

The first restaurant which launched its “terrorist” campaign is “Geghama” complex. It is said that the owner of that complex is a general from the police. The list of songs proves that supposition: “Vladimirski Central”, “Vot Kakaya Dolya Varavskaya” (Russian songs about criminal world). This kind of songs is quite characteristic for them. If the owner is an oligarch, it also doesn’t change the situation. Nobody will dare damage his business.

THE FREEDOM SQUARE IS STILL OCCUPIED

The RA law enforcement bodies do not allow the citizens with the oppositionist view to walk in the Freedom Square for about 3 months.

The Freedom Square which our police decided to clean up from the people who were struggling for their constitutional right is still occupied by law enforcement bodies. It is allowed to hold the parade on the day of Serge Sargsyan's inauguration, to allow one of the coalition members to organize mass events in the Freedom Square on April 23, it was allowed to hold a concert in that square but those people who haven't changed their opinion regarding the presidential elections on February 19 are not allowed to gather there. The Freedom Square is closed for the All People Movement even if its participants want to visit the monument of the Genocide victims in organized way moving from the Freedom Square, especially when the representatives of «Nikol Aghbalyan» students' organization was allowed to do that.

How do the authorities who speak about dialogues all day long decide who is allowed to enter the
