    When the police write in their statements, “This citizen was not detected, as a result of police investigation,” I perceive that roughly as follows – a police unit ambushes outside the suspect’s house and wait for him to appear. At the same time two smart detectives, one of whom had better be white and the other black, carefully inquire in various cafes and other places of amusement to find out when that person was last seen. Etc. Then all those groups come to their chief and report, “The suspect couldn’t be detected.” If a man (furthermore, not short) goes to work and comes back home every day, first of all the point in investigation is not clear, second it is not clear why the investigation failed. As you understand, I am talking about Hayk Gevorgyan, a journalist of Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper.

    The police write, “On January 23, a decision was made to bring Gevorgyan in. As a result of an investigation Gevorgyan was not detected. On the same day (i.e. on January 23 – A.A.), a decision was made to declare Gevorgyan wanted and arrest was chosen, as a measure of restraint.
